Today ( actually yesterday as I fell asleep and almost didn’t post) our special thing was to just watch an old home video. This is something the kids absolutely love to do and since we were kind of rushed and behind today it seemed a good day to do that. They watched the year 2012 and all the kids seemed so small. Today was busy and rushed but a good day. Since I feel asleep until after midnight I guess I will actually be posting again today for the 8th day of our twenty-four days.
Today our special thing was to make a box of snacks for the delivery guys to have. We bought a bunch of chips and some granola bars, some candy and popcorn and put it all in a box out front along with water. We did this last year and it was a hit so hopefully it will be again this year.
Our son, John, also put lights and garland on our house today. We have not had lights on our house in years and the kids were thrilled. They had asked over and over if we could do it and I joked to John he should come over and do it for me and he went out and bought the lights and garland and then brought it over and put it all up. It really does look nice.
