Bethany drew another picture from the same book and then painted it and I think it turned out very nice. She is now working on a third picture from the same book.

Watercolors

Bethany has always loved to draw and paint and use chalk pastels. This summer she has started to use watercolors more and more. She has been looking at pictures online and in books we have here to see different art. Recently, she has been trying her hand at drawing pictures she likes from books. We have an old book here that she loves to practice the art from. She drew her first picture once and painted it, but decided she really didn’t like it so she tried it again and this time she likes it much better. Now she is working on a second picture from the same book that is illustrated by Eloise Wilkins. I love to see her sit and paint every afternoon.
