The Clean Up Crew

Evelyn was here today and almost every single time she is here she asks me for a job to make money. Today she asked if she could clean up the deck from the fall party and pumpkin painting. Aria was begging to help her and it seemed like a good idea so I told them to go for it. They actually did a very good job and both of them made a little money for Christmas.

A Fall Party

We had our annual fall party on Saturday with the farm animals and lots of food. There were also pumpkins to paint for all the kids. The kids loved the pony rides and all the animals including a pig, alpaca, bunnies, ducks, donkey, cow, goats and a few more. It seemed to me that this year the kids actually enjoyed the day more than usual. They were outside the entire time with the animals and painting pumpkins and even some football. I know Bethany and Tess told me this year was the best. It must have been, as I hardly took any pictures. I went out on the deck when it first started and just snapped a few of all the kids and then a few more later and that was it. I do wish I had taken more, but I did enjoy my time visiting with everyone and then the time just slipped by.

Then today after church a lot of the kids painted a second pumpkin or perfected the ones they had started yesterday. I did get a couple of pictures of that. Again, they were outside running and playing and working on pumpkins all afternoon and we adults all sat inside and visited. It was a very nice afternoon.
