Today actually felt like spring. I decided we needed to take a walk and just enjoy nature a little. The kids love to walk and get in the creek and look for anything they can catch so we spent a couple of hours doing that. It was so nice. The girls ended up in the muddy water and got their shoes soaking and their legs muddy, but they had fun and we haven’t had a good walk in awhile. They had no luck catching anything. They didn’t care what it was – they just wanted to catch anything out of the water or even flying around, but there was nothing to be seen.
I got them Happy Meals on the way home and they sat outside and ate on the porch – they were way too muddy to eat in the house. It was a pleasant afternoon and evening. I sat on the porch and watched the kids play after dinner and really enjoyed it finally warming up enough to do this. I am so ready for warm weather.
We have read and read lately. We start our morning off with reading and we end our evenings that way so many times. We have found so many good books lately and I will share them in another post. For now I will just post some pictures of our walk today.
