The Pink Letter!

Today I went to the mailbox and saw an envelope from USCIS. At first I was excited, but then as I looked in the window of the envelope, I noticed it was pink. Since I read a lot of the adoption blogs from Reece’s Rainbow, I knew a pink letter was not a good letter. So I opened it and saw they needed more information on my daughter that just turned eighteen in February. I was hoping they would not ask for any of this. But, the good thing is, earlier in the day I had received an e-mail from our social worker saying that she had finished the addendum for Katie and all of her background checks had come in. She said she was dropping it in the mail today so we will have it by Friday. Then we’ll just FedEx the  addendum  to USCIS and hopefully they will get back on it quickly.

As usual, I thought I’d post a few pictures.
