Such a lovely afternoon of play and the weather was perfect. They played outside for hours and then came in for dinner – roast, potatoes, carrots and onions with rolls. This, according to Tess, is the best dinner there is.

Puzzles

The kids have been working on puzzles a lot lately and I think it is as much fun for me as it is them — that would be because they are so quiet and calm while working them. So nice. So, buying puzzles is a win, win thing for me. I think the kids will be working a lot of them this fall.
This first puzzle, Bethany worked on her own. She didn’t want any help on it at all as it was her first 500 piece puzzle.
This next one we are going to frame and give to Joey as he loves the artist that did this picture. I just have to get out and get a frame.
