Today our special thing was to make Rice Krispies Treats and to bring the cottages out of the attic. The kids loved the Rice Krispies Treats and they played with cottages all afternoon and only broke one cottage and one person. At the end of each day they are asking what our special thing will be the next day so they are really getting into this. It was a simple day but nice. We also started reading The Christmas Doll by Elvira Woodruff. We read this book every year and they seem to love it more and more and ask for it as soon as we get it out of the attic. We have only brought down a few books so far, but we made sure that book was in our bucket of bring down books.
