Friday afternoon we had a sourdough class at our home with family and a few friends. It was a very small group, but ended up being so nice. I think everyone really enjoyed the class and I know Abigail has really taken to making all kinds of things with her starter. When I talked to her this evening she was making sourdough banana bread with chocolate chips. Megan has brought us bread almost every morning for the past two or three weeks so we have eaten delicious homemade bread for breakfast almost every morning. We had chocolate chip sourdough bread this morning that Bethany, Tess and Aria made. I told Megan that it was so much fun we should do another class sometime. She said she thinks the same woman that taught our class teaches several others so, who knows, we just might.
We are all ready for summer and we only have a few more weeks of school – though we may do a little school this summer. Our chickens are laying so many eggs for us and it is really nice to have fresh eggs every morning. We are very glad we got our chickens.
I know I have been behind in blogging again and I’m not sure why, but it just seems I can’t keep up lately. I tell myself constantly that I will get back to it and catch up with all the news and then I realize it has been weeks. Maybe with summer coming I will do better. I am hoping to have a nice quiet summer with lots of family activities.

Hi Sharon!
This is Ms Kim from MIM 🙂 I was excited to see your blog post this morning. You are doing such wonderful things with your family. The children who are chosen to live in your home are truly blessed. They look so happy and loved!
We think Sarah, Caroline, Claire and Bella all the time at MIM and miss them so much. Hope they are doing well. I know you have your hands full with all you are doing, but if any of them want or have the time to dance again, the door is always open!!!
Give each of them a hug from me.
Take care! Ms Kim
Thanks, Kim. The girls still talk about dance all the time and about one day dancing again. If it is up to them we will definitely be back sometime soon.
fresh bread AND fresh eggs every day? How wonderful. I love that the girls are so into cooking things, I bet it is pretty helpful to have extra hands. Glad everyone is doing well and staying busy!
Tess and Aria are the two that really love to bake. Bethany likes to occasionally – especially if it’s a pie. That is the one thing she loves to make – pie.
