The Twenty-Four Days Before Christmas – Day 9

Today we put window stickers on our kitchen windows and on one of our family room doors. The same friend that gave us the gingerbread ornaments decorating kit gave us these stickers, too. They are really cute. We used the candy canes for the kitchen and all the others for the family room door. This may sound rather small and insignificant but it counts.
Also, I want to thank everyone again for praying for our son. He got the results of the MRI today and the tumor was considered stable – no shrinkage, but no growth. So, though we were hoping for some shrinkage, I am very happy with stable. Thanks again for your prayers and please continue to remember him.

Then this evening I took most of the kids to play practice and we did a one time run through. Zola couldn’t make it as she had harp and a big concert tomorrow.

  1. Glad to hear that your son remains stable, with no tumor growth. That's positive news. I will continue to keep him in prayers.

  2. Thanks so much. I thought it was positive, too. He was a little disappointed and I understand — but stable is still good.

  3. Yes, I have been through this with a friend, and I know the ups and downs the scans and waiting. It's so hard, I hope he is remaining as positive as he can.
