It’s been so long since I have been on here. We had a nice Christmas and then a busy January. January has ended here with a lot of very cold weather and ice and snow. Lots of ice. I am so ready for this to all end, but the girls have had a lot of fun sledding and trying to build an igloo. Bethany has really enjoyed it since she realized she could ice skate on the road. It is perfect – just a solid sheet of ice on our entire road.
I think it’s going to warm up in the next few days so it will probably all melt. I will not miss it, but it has been pretty and I did really enjoy watching the girls skate. Evelyn even came over and skated a little. It is so unusual for us to have all this ice and it was really exciting for all my kids and grandkids.
oh how fun for them! I remember being a child and loving snow and ice…now it’s just coldness LOL We have had a very cold winter here in Michigan, single digits for weeks now. Can’t wait for the spring thaw! Glad to hear you had a nice holiday. I so enjoyed the “24 days”.
