The Twenty-Four Days Before Christmas – Day 14

Today our “special thing” was our Christmas program at church. I think it turned out really nice considering we practiced so little. John bought us a backdrop and that made it look a little more like Bethlehem. The kids all remembered their parts and solos and little Archie was so good. The day started out very hectic and difficult and we were late getting out of the house. I was not feeling like it was going to be great, but I was pleasantly surprised.

I am so glad we decided to do the program again this year. We had so few kids that we almost didn’t, but then decided to go ahead and do the best we could. It worked out. We ended up with Reagan being able to be in it when we originally thought she could not and then Anna volunteered Archie. It was nice and I was proud of all the kids.

We went to Agecroft Hall right after church so we were late getting home and I didn’t get my pictures on the computer till late. So, I haven’t even looked at most of them and I’m going to post just a few tonight and maybe post more tomorrow. Too tired to go through all of them tonight. It was a very nice day.

These photos are so sweet. I always enjoy seeing your kids in the Christmas program every year. I still remember hearing Bethany singing one year and just sounding so angelic. I’m glad it went well for them!

    • Thank you so much. Bethany sang again this year – though she was having some trouble with her voice since she had strep a couple of weeks ago. Sarah also sang a solo and she was very proud of herself. She loves to sing and especially likes to sing in church.
