The Twenty-Four Days Before Christmas – Day 7

Today seemed long and tiring as our special thing was practice for our Christmas program at church. The kids had lots of fun goofing off and playing and talking, but I’m exhausted just trying to make sure all the angel costumes were long enough or not too long. Then I had to try to track down slips, and tights, or white t-shirts, etc. as the costumes are so thin you can see through them. But, I got everything done and got to church on time and we ran through the program two times. I think we just about have it down, but at this point it doesn’t even matter as the program is tomorrow. The kids had fun and tomorrow after performing they will have a small party.

My pictures are of Joseph, Mary and baby Jesus. Joseph and Mary are my two grandkids, Joshua and Madelyn and baby Jesus is my youngest grandbaby – Archie. He’s a pretty big baby to be Jesus, but I wanted him to be in it anyway. He is 5 months old.

oh how fun that you have so many kids and grandkids in the Christmas program! It must be fun to look back on them and see how small they were each year 🙂

  2. I do enjoy my children very much and they definitely make the holidays a lot of fun. I love looking back and seeing them do the same play year after year and baking every single Christmas, but it is actually sad at the same time. They were so small and cute and they are growing so fast. But, I am so glad that we started our blog and kept writing and posting pictures as I think our blog books will mean a lot to the kids one day. They already look at them a lot.
