Friday Afternoon On The Porch

This afternoon the kids and I sat on the porch for a long time. They basically just talked and goofed off and ate popsicles – the first I have bought this year. It was a nice afternoon and a great way to start the weekend and the weather was beautiful.

Change of Weather

The temperature suddenly dropped here the past couple of days and strangely Bethany and Tess said it was too cold to play outside today – though they played outside all winter. I mean it was 59 or 60 degrees – not 30. Anyway, while the other kids played outside they brought their sewing machines down to the kitchen and sewed all afternoon. It was a nice afternoon and I enjoyed their company.
