Today our special thing was to decorate our family room tree. Tess made some fudge and everyone joined in – though not Sophia as she was asleep. The kids had fun, but it seemed like the only ornaments they wanted to hang were the ones that were so heavy the branches fell way down and the lights fell off. I finally had to put the really heavy ones away. Sarah especially seemed to find every super heavy ornament she could. But, everyone had fun and thank goodness that tree is done. Now it feels more like Christmas the kids tell me.
We also wrapped a few gifts and Bethany and I did a little shopping. I am desperately trying to finish all my shopping, but I keep realizing I have more and more to buy. It was a nice day and we did get a lot done.
