Friday morning I had a nice surprise – an early visit from my daughter, Abigail, and her boys. I had not seen them in awhile as they had been sick. It was such a nice day – a little cool and so pretty. We sat outside and visited and the boys played out front and then went around back to check for eggs from the chickens. I had a new book for Shep and Abigail read to him on the porch. It was a wonderful visit.
August went inside to the library and found the Nutcracker that I had left in there after Christmas last year. I was going to throw it away, as it had so many broken parts, but ended up saving it as the kids like it so much. He wanted it turned on and then lay there in the floor just listening and watching. So, cute. Shep ended up joining him.
