Step Up For Down Syndrome 5K and Festival

Yesterday we had our Step Up For Down Syndrome 5K and Festival. Sarah and Caroline danced with Miracles in Motion during the festivities. They were pretty excited about dancing and especially excited about their new shirts and shoes that they had to wear. There were clowns, face painting, hoola-hoops, a jump rope team, musicians and several other activities. It was a little cool but still a lot of fun.

I woke up this morning and checked my email for the signature from the MOJ, but it wasn’t there and I never got the email today. I was so disappointed! I so hope we get the signature this week. I am so tired of waiting, but there is really nothing we can do about it but pray and wait. Hopefully, it won’t be much longer. I really want the girls to be here for Thanksgiving and Christmas, but things aren’t looking good for that.

I got a surprise tonight — we received a $10 donation to our account for the girls. I was pretty excited as it has been a very long time since we received a donation. I want to thank whoever donated to help bring our girls home. I don’t know who you are, but we appreciate it so much. Thank you.

I looked back to find a few pictures that I hadn’t posted of Bella and Allysen. When I look at their pictures, I want to have them here so much — but, I know it will happen eventually.
