The Twenty-Four Days Before Christmas – Day 8

Today our special thing was to put snowflakes on the windows. We had enough to do the family room French doors and the kitchen window. They looked kind of pretty when they were all up. Festive. Then the kids watched The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. We also read more in our book The Christmas Doll – it is such a good book. It was a pretty relaxing day which was nice because I had not expected it to be as I had a lot to do.

I hate that these 24 days go by so quickly because I love these posts so much, and to see the traditions you engage in yearly. I love the trees, the decorations, the treats, and of course, the girls. Bella has really grown up!
It’s always a treat to see Sophia, she is such a beautiful girl!

    • We do love our traditions here – and I think traditions are great as long as they remain enjoyable. The kids never want to drop even one, though sometimes I could. But, for the most part I love most of them and wonder when the kids will tire of some – but, they hold on to even the smallest traditions. Bella has really grown lately – faster than her other sisters with DS did – they seemed to remain small so long. Sophia is also pretty tall though she may not look it.
