Today I was thinking about new dish towels to use to cover my bread and bread dough and thought it would be nice to have some fall ones. Tess said she would make some for me so we went to Hobby Lobby and looked at fabric. They only had a few fall patterns and a small amount of Christmas fabric. I decided it would be nice to have some for fall and a few for Christmas so we bought both. We came home and Tess immediately started sewing and she made two dish towels this afternoon and said she would make more tomorrow. She made them a little over-sized so we could cover the bread dough easily. They both look really nice.
Aria saw she had made them and immediately wanted to make one. So, tomorrow she is going to make one or two after church. It is nice for them to like sewing so much and to make things for me. I love to just watch them cut and sew. We will probably go back in a month or two when they have more seasonal fabric so they can make a few more things – maybe a Christmas apron or two and a couple of pillows.
