Today we stayed home all day and wrapped presents and listened to Christmas music and just spent time together. It was a pleasant day. I had a lot of deliveries today and I wrapped them as they came so it would be done. I am trying as hard as I can to have everything wrapped and ready by this coming week so we have a few days that I’m not wrapping and shopping and running around. Today our “special thing” is very small again. I had Archie today and so we had our “special thing” work around having a little one here. We decided to read some of our books together and some of the girls picked out a few and I read. Archie listened for a little while, but it didn’t take long for him to grow bored. So, we didn’t read a lot but we did read several of our favorites. It was nice and we love so many of our Christmas books – they are like old friends. It was a nice evening and now we need to gather up everything we will need for our program tomorrow.
