Yesterday, the kids made clove apples. We put the cloves in a bunch of cinnamon first so they would smell extra good — and it worked. Everyone had so much fun making these and now my kitchen smells nice. I love fall.

We are reading through the Little House books and were reading about clove apples. We'll have to do this soon. Good way to build fine motor skills and just like with the puzzles, keeps little hands occupied. We love doing puzzles when it's too cold to play outside!
That’s exactly where we got the idea from.
