Today our special thing was to watch a Christmas movie – Home Alone. The kids were thrilled and I had a little free time to get a few things done. It was good. I feel we are a little behind, but plan on catching up this week.

The Twenty-Four Days Before Christmas- Day 11

Today our special thing was small. Really small, but it still counts. I had planned to let them watch a Christmas movie which is something they love to do, but I had so much to get done and I wanted them to get some stuff done, too. So, I decided this would be a simple day – just do something small. So, we made cinnamon potpourri in the crock pot- Evelyn and Liam were here to help. After about an hour it smelled delicious. Bethany and I ran out to get my mom a Christmas tree this evening and when we came back home and walked in the door it smelled so wonderful. We will be having this simmer the rest of December.
