Today we almost didn’t get our special thing done. It seemed I was busy all day and stuff kept coming up. It was getting dark and I realized we had not done our special thing and I remembered I had some kits to make Christmas garland so I got those out and they sat around the Christmas tree and made Christmas tree and sweater and nutcracker garland. It was dark and chilly and we played Christmas music and we all enjoyed the evening.
Today was a pretty busy day so we did something quick and easy, but the kids enjoyed it. I bought some chocolate bombs and let the kids have them today. You just add milk and stir and the chocolate ball melts and tiny marshmallows pop out. Everyone really liked them except Sarah as she doesn’t like marshmallows – so she had regular hot chocolate. It was a small, but fun, special thing.
