The Twenty-Four Days Before Christmas – Day 10

Today our special thing was to make paper snowflakes. The girls cut and cut and made all kinds of snowflakes. Aria had a difficult time making them, but Bethany and Tess helped her. She finally got the hang of it after using about 20 sheets of paper. Aria does not give up. It started with a few of the girls and the others joined in one by one. Finally, I think all the girls made some except Sarah who prefers to watch a lot of the time. I think they are going to make a few more tomorrow as they actually didn’t start till very late afternoon and need a few more if they are going to hang them.

We picked up a little and Joey finished getting our space ready for our new double oven which is supposed to come tomorrow. I’m so excited to have an oven again. We can’t wait to make cookies and do our orange slices and finally make pizza again.

  1. I love seeing beautiful Sophia! Boy, these girls have really grown up! You’re right, it seems to happen so fast. They did a great job on the snowflakes!

    • They are growing up fast. Even Aria has grown so much in the past 3 years. She was so small when she first got here and now she has had to have her leg adjusted 3 or 4 times as she has grown so tall. Sophia has grown, but not like the others. She’s really not that big at all. She does enjoy the lights of the trees at Christmas.
