Today our “special thing” was peppermint milkshakes. I went out and got all the girls peppermint milkshakes – except Sarah. Sarah is very picky about what she eats and drinks and milkshakes are not on her list of desirable drinks. So, I got her something else. All the girls were in agreement that they wanted to try the shakes and every single one of them agreed they were delicious. So, simple and easy.
Bethany also sang at a nursing home this afternoon. Michael was playing a Christmas concert for the residents and ask if Bethany could sing, as he thought everyone would really enjoy her singing a few Christmas carols. She was nervous to go, but ended up being glad she went. I am glad she got the opportunity to do that as she loves to sing, but can be reluctant in new places. It was good for her and Michael said she was a real hit with everyone.
your house looks so beautiful! I am impressed with all of the fun things you are finding to do. Even the small things are very Christmassy and I’m sure your kids are making wonderful memories. I can’t believe the 24 days are going so fast!
It does seem to be flying by this year. I could use a little more time to just enjoy this season a little more.
