Today we went to church, as usual. Joey and his kids were there so we decided to go get lunch afterwards. It’s been a long time since we all went out to lunch together. It was really nice and then Joey and the kids came by to visit for awhile.
Madelyn and Bethany sketched and painted for a long time. Today Bethany sketched some flowers instead of a person. She seems to lean towards drawing people most of the time. Madelyn used watercolors and painted. Then they all went out to take care of the chickens and then played some games upstairs in Bethany and Tess’s room. It was a nice afternoon. Just a quiet and relaxing day.
I also wanted to post a picture of the huge egg our hen laid. She lays huge eggs like this all the time and they are always double yolk. Then there is the tiny egg one of them laid. We looked it up and they call them fairy eggs and they usually don’t even have a yolk. Anyway, Bethany put the the really big one and the tiny one with a normal sized one yesterday and we both took pictures. We enjoy our chickens so much. And it is so nice to get eggs every single day.
