The Twenty-Four Days Before Christmas – Day 10

Today our “special thing” was to get most of our wrapping done. I had already wrapped a ton, but most of the girls had not. So, we decided we would just wrap for our “special thing”. The girls all brought their stuff downstairs and everyone had to occasionally hide their eyes or leave the room, but everyone of them got all their wrapping done today. And I actually wrapped a little more myself. It feels good to have most of it done – though I still have quite a few gifts coming that I will need to wrap later.

The Twenty-Four Days Before Christmas – Day 9

Today I , literally, wrapped just about the entire day. I guess I wrapped approximately 50 or more gifts. I still have more, but at least I feel like I have made a decent start. So, because I spent so much time wrapping our “special thing” had to be something pretty easy and I hadn’t even thought about what we would do till after 7 o’clock. Our “special thing” ended up being a game – we played the game Yule Never Guess. We played it last year and sometimes I feel like I’m just on repeat from other years, but it was easy and took no planning and everyone wanted to play. It was a lot of fun, though there were a good number of questions that none of the girls could answer. But, we laughed and really enjoyed. It was a pretty good day for me as I got so much wrapping done – though I still have a lot left to do.

We still have snow on the ground and it was really cold today so it will still be there tomorrow for the girls to go back out and do some sledding. They love it and I don’t see how – way to cold for me.

I took zero pictures today so I will post a few more of the night we decorated our tree.
