The Twenty-Four Days Before Christmas – Day 8

Today our special thing was to put snowflakes on the windows. We had enough to do the family room French doors and the kitchen window. They looked kind of pretty when they were all up. Festive. Then the kids watched The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. We also read more in our book The Christmas Doll – it is such a good book. It was a pretty relaxing day which was nice because I had not expected it to be as I had a lot to do.

The Twenty-Four Days Before Christmas – Day 7

Today our special thing was to start our morning with cinnamon rolls and the book The Christmas Doll by Elvira Woodruff. They ate and I read. We love the book and read it every single year and somehow never tire of it. So, it was a good morning. Then in the late afternoon they dipped pretzel sticks in icing and sprinkles. They loved doing that. The only bad thing was I bought two kits and there was only ONE pretzel that was not broken into lots of pieces. So, it wasn’t as much fun as the pretzels didn’t really look that nice. They still enjoyed it though.
