Today our special thing was to take jars of candy to McDonald’s for the employees. We try to do this every year as they are so kind and friendly whenever we go there. We took three jars this evening and we will take three more in the morning for that shift. We also baked cookies and watched The Nativity. The girls enjoyed the movie – especially as they watch very few. We still plan on a few more before Christmas. It was a nice day as we spent a lot of time just talking and sharing memories and just being together listening to Christmas music. I have wanted this year to be a little slower and allow us some time to just talk and reminisce and we have been able to do that and I think we have all enjoyed every minute of it.
