Todays our “special thing” was to decorate our family room tree. Everyone loves to do it and we made a night of it. We got it all done and now it feels like Christmas in our house. Tomorrow we practice our Christmas program at church and it seems things are moving faster than I want them to move. We are now planning to slow down and enjoy. We were late decorating and I feel late getting everything done tonight. I will only post a few picutes and do more tomorrow.
Today we decided to make fudge and Rice Krispies Treats for our neighbors and family for our “special thing”. One of my daughters had a pretty stressful day and we thought snacks might cheer her up and relax her a little. We also put the beads on the family room tree and Bethany cut holly and berries to put in the garland on our railing – it looked nice when she was done. After all the snacks were delivered we decided to try out the Grinch Meal at McDonald’s and so the girls all got a meal with their Grinch socks inside. Oh, and it snowed a little bit last night and everyone wanted to go outside and play around in the snow. There was very little, but pretty.
