Today our special thing was to pull out some of our Christmas books. We love our Christmas books. I did not bring all of them out today. I decided this year we would bring out some of them and then later bring out more as we have so many. I think this will work well. After a week I think I will add another bucket or two of books. I really should have done this a little earlier and I am not sure why I’m so late, but we will still get a lot read.
This evening my daughter, Megan, took us to look at Christmas lights. She knew a really good place to go and asked if we wanted to go with her so we got hot chocolate and rode around for about an hour and a half. It was a lot of fun and added a little extra to our special thing for the day.
Also, these are the little cottages I got at the antique mall on Saturday when we went. I think they are really cute – just haven’t decided where to put them yet.
